Last day of school for the week! Graham likes to "help" Emery with her schoolwork. Notice the laundry piles on the floor! Gotta get that laundry done before the weekend! "MULTI-TASKING" is required for homeschooling!
Monday, Sept. 22nd
Happy Birthday to Graham!! Graham is now 4 years old! Graham's requests for meals on his birthday: breakfast - toast and bacon; lunch - pb&j; supper - juicy chicken (He told me I fixed the wrong "juicy chicken" - I don't know what the "juicy chicken" is!) Graham was very excited about his birthday!!! He got a real set of golf clubs, play animal figures, a remote controlled car, lots of "sports clothes", a Patch the Pirate CD, and a stuffed dinosaur! Thank you everyone for the gifts!!
Saturday, Sept. 20th
Emery and Graham performed in the Suzuki Strings concert downtown for the Arts in the Heart Festival. Emery does a great job watching the director! This was Graham's first performance. He just sawed away on his cardboard violin. He gets his real violin at next lessons! He is quite excited!
After the concert we went to the rodeo at Fort Gordon. This was the first rodeo for the kids and they had fun. Emery went into the pen area with many other children to chase a calf to get the ribbon off his tail. There was a $50 reward for the child that got the ribbon! It certainly was fun to watch! Emery didn't get the ribbon, but asked if we'd come back next year to try again!

I went up to kiss the kids one more time before I went to bed and this is how Graham was sleeping. He always puts his stuffed animals securely in his pillowcase and then sleeps on his pillow, but this time he must have decided to join his stuffed friends in the pillowcase.
