Halloween Trick-or-Treating with the neighbor friends. It was actually pretty chilly for Halloween this year! My neighbor and myself came up with quick, cheap costumes this year! Lilly, Emery's friend, was a puddle - her idea! So cute! Poor Graham had 4 shots in his legs the day before and couldn't walk so well so I pulled him in the wagon as much as possible. He would just hobble up to each door and not complain a bit. -- -- of course, he was getting candy!
Wednesday, October 29th
Awana Trunk-or-Treat. Graham took the "Trunk" part literally!
Saturday, October 25th
Western Day at the Gunn Farm. The annual outing with our church was a great time as usual of games, hayrides, horseback rides, shooting, chicken races, and hiking. Graham really dressed the part as a cowboy and could not wait to enjoy the fun!
Thursday, October 23rd
Georgia-Carolina Fair. The kids had a great time. Mom needed Motrin before bed that night after riding the kiddy rides! Note to self: Don't try Six Flags!
Saturday, October 18th
Colonial Times at The Living History Park in North Augusta, SC - - The favorite memory is Graham saying, "Mom, you know that girl at the bread place? She was so pretty I couldn't take my eyes off of her!"
Saturday, October 11th
Happy Birthday, Emery!! Emery asked for French Toast for breakfast, and Grandma made her homemade cinnamon bread for the French Toast. We all filled up on breakfast! For lunch and supper, Emery requested turkey sandwiches and Spaghettios! You'd think I didn't cook much, but I do, really!
Friday, October 10th
Long story short, Grandma and Grandpa Bachman found a little "mutt" while biking. They made attempts to find its owner but had no responses. So . . . they surprised Emery for her birthday with a new pet! Emery named him Buddy! He is a very sweet puppy and we know that God answered Emery's prayers for her to have a dog. This all did not come about by accident!
Saturday, October 4th
Jaquar Jaunt 5K at Augusta State. My friends, Jeremiah and Ashley ran the 5K with me. I finished 24:35. Not bad for a 40 yr. old, I guess. I did place 2nd place in my age group!!
